I made this game for the One Game A Month Jam #51
I actually found out about this game jam about halfway through the month so it was about 2 weeks from concept to completion. This was my first time actually finishing a game. :)
The music is by @gruber_music from his album Pico-8 Tunes Volume 1. Please check out his other music, he makes awesome stuff!
Hope you like the game!

Thanks so much @SquishiestRosie for trying my game! Also thanks for the feedback!
A couple people have mentioned the controls are a little sticky. When I get a minute, I'm going to rework the controls to make things easier to make copies. Also I want to add some tweaks to the tutorial, maybe some arrows and icons to make things easier to understand.
Thanks again for trying my game. Super appreciated!
This is pretty fun, well done! I initially didn't get what I had to do, but copying makes a huge difference. I went from 12 to >100 people saved just because of that mechanic! Also, I feel like the music matches the aesthetics very well.
I have a small suggestion, though: have you considered allowing the player to make copies successive by continuously holding down the x button, instead of needing to release it and press it again for every copy?
Hey @Shipperino, thanks for playing and the feedback!
Yeah a couple people have brought that up. When I get a second, I'm going to try to tweak the controls to make them more responsive and feel less clunky. The holding x is a good idea. Maybe hold x and just holding a direction will keep making copies. I'll mess around with it plus I want to make some tweaks to the tutorial to make it easier for people to understand.
Thanks again for trying out my game and great feedback!
